Operation Bring Back SMART
to Livonia and Southeast Michigan

A humanitarian endeavor to support the Suburban Mobility Authority for Regional Transportation ~ SMART with the most efficient use of our limited tax dollars based on sound economic and moral principles

The objective is to persuade the registered voters of Wayne, Oakland and Macomb Counties to apply for state revenue sharing for a regional mass transit plan first created in 1995 to correspond with the passage of the first county tax for community transit in suburban Detroit, MI

From June 2003 to November 2006, this plan commenced to improve the mobility of all people, including those with special needs and those without cars and worked to help public and private transportation providers meet the mobility needs of the people and communities they serve. This plan preserved the Middlebelt 285 bus line and other indispensable pre-1995 connections with qualified funds.
